Terms of Service

Last updated: 24 October 2026.

These Terms of Service apply to AmbiChat, a website chat widget and business inbox operated by Schellhammer Brokerage, S.L. (NIF/CIF B93210375), Centro Comercial San Roque Club, local 3D, 11360 San Roque, Cádiz, Spain. Contact: [email protected]. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.

1. Accounts and websites

You may create an account using a supported sign-in provider and configure AmbiChat for websites you own or are authorised to manage. You are responsible for your account access, the accuracy of your business details and activities performed through your account. You must not access another business’s conversations without permission.

2. Free early access and branding

AmbiChat is currently offered free of charge with its available features and without a numerical limit on websites you configure. The free widget includes a small “Powered by AmbiChat” attribution and link to www.ambichat.com, which must not be removed or obscured. Branding removal is not currently available. Any future paid option will be offered separately, with its price and terms shown before you choose to subscribe. No payment will be taken without your separate, explicit subscription choice.

3. Responsible use

Use AmbiChat only for lawful business communication. Do not send spam, impersonate others, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with the service, distribute malware or use it to collect information unlawfully. We may restrict misuse to protect other customers and the service.

4. Your visitor conversations

Businesses using AmbiChat are responsible for the messages they send, the information they collect from visitors and their own privacy notices and legal obligations. You should explain to visitors how their information is used and obtain any notices or permissions required for your website. Do not intentionally request highly sensitive personal information through chat unless you have a lawful basis and appropriate safeguards. AmbiChat supplies the communication tool; it does not provide legal, medical or other professional advice.

5. Content and privacy

You retain your rights in the content you submit. You permit us to host, transmit and display that content as needed to provide AmbiChat to you and your visitors. For details of account information, conversation records, Google sign-in, cookies and notifications, see our Privacy Policy. Businesses that require a data-processing agreement for visitor information should contact us before using the service for regulated or sensitive processing.

6. Service availability and changes

AmbiChat is in early access. We aim to keep it reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that every feature will always remain unchanged. We may fix, improve or discontinue features, and we will aim to give reasonable notice of material changes where practicable. Please keep your own copies of information you must retain for business or legal purposes.

7. Ownership and attribution

AmbiChat’s software, name, design and branding belong to their respective rights holders. These terms grant you a limited right to use the service and install the widget on authorised websites while your account remains active. They do not transfer ownership of the software or permit removal of the free-plan attribution.

8. Closing an account

You can stop using the widget at any time and request account closure by emailing [email protected]. We handle verified account-closure and deletion requests manually, subject to lawful retention requirements and the Privacy Policy. We may suspend accounts involved in material misuse, with notice where reasonable.

9. Responsibility and applicable law

Each party remains responsible for its own conduct and legal obligations. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of this early-access service. Nothing in these terms limits rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded. Spanish law applies, without affecting mandatory protections that may apply in your country.

10. Contact and updates

Questions about these terms may be sent to [email protected]. We may update these terms when the service changes; the date above indicates the current version.
